Poor Nisa! I didn't want her to die! She was the nicest mother! Yeah, Ashia is okay... Oka is not (Well she was to Tobi anyway).

I feel more sorry for Taqqiq because he thought Kallik was dead too.

(By the way I haven't read past chapter 12)

I don't want to spoil anything for you, but your feelings about Okas motherness will change a million times over the next couple books. And I agree, Nisa was the best mother of them all. And Ashia doesn't really do much, because she's in a zoo and the zookeepers take care of Lusa.

I agree too. Nisa was the best mother. I was heartbroken when she died!

okay, fine. nisa was an awesome mother, but like seedfur said, your opinion will change. especially when you read spirits in the stars.
