Warriors Fest and ESCBPTCHNSN

Alrighty guys I have a few announcements for you.

First of all, Warriors Fest is going to be resuming in August! We are removing the October event and pushing it up to August, so the contest will take place August 15-19. So get started on your projects now! (:

Secondly, there has been quite a few of you who have told Storm, Fire, and I that it would be a good idea to have monthly meetings and I know we halfheartedly tried to set it up once but now we really have come up with a solid plan for it! Our idea at first was to have a once a month meeting in the chat box where tons of members would get on and just talk, and having it once a month would tie it into the books so they would be like gatherings. BUT we decided to have these meetings every Saturday in order to draw in more attention/members to the site. So, here's what you need to know:
1. These meetings are officially (unless someone comes up with a better name) called Every Saturday Chat Box Parties That Currently Have No Special Name or ESCBPTCHNSN. Wink

2. They will happen every Saturday at a currently undetermined time and dates will be posted later. I will also be creating a side widget so in the future all of the dates/times will be listed on the right hand side of your screen.

This brings me to my final topic of business. We still need to determine the best time for the ESCBPTCHNSN's to happen, so I would like all of you to tell me below when you get on most often/when it is most convenient for you to get on and what time zone you live in. And than we will compile the times, figure out the time differences and let you all know when we come up with a set time.

What if these were an all-day affair? If everyone came on plus new users (myself included), it could easily become overwhelming and hard to handle. With no scheduled time, just users coming on when they can, it'll be easier, and arguably more fun. Obviously not everyone will be able to meet at the same time, especially with the different timezones, and it might be hard to schedule so it's compatible with everyone's schedule.

I understand your point, and maybe I should have clarified but when I said set times I meant a time period of around 5 hours so that it was possible for multiple people to get on at once but if more members think an all day thing would be best than we will revise it. (:

when I read the title of the post I thought Moss wrote random letters... Every Saturday Chat Box Parties That Currently Have No Special Name seriously? We really need to think of a better name... How about Saturday Gatherings or S.G. for short.

Alright, sounds like most of you are more available later in the night, which works for me as well. Now what about time zones? And if you don't know your time zone, tell me your state and than I'll figure it out for you. (;
